Steel Technologies Hiring for Office Assistant at Anoka, MN, US Full Time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Check with designated lead person on machine assignment and job assignment.
• Produce parts on CNC machines according to specifications and within acceptable production requirements.
• Unload and package parts according to JBT Machining standards and customer requirements.
• Complete accurate daily records (date, times, quantities of parts ran, and scrap) for every job worked on, on Shop Travelers and in the ERP system.
• Follow instructions from all JBT Machining documentation, including : Shop Traveler, Inspection Sheets, and blueprints.
• Inform quality control, shift supervisor / lead person of any problems or concerns with parts.
• Accept responsibility for the quality of products / services provided and perform all required inspections.
• Perform required preventive maintenance on equipment, watch and listen for abnormal conditions, and any concerns to maintenance and / or shift supervisor / lead immediately.
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and orderly manner and comply with all 5S procedures.
• Conduct all tasks and behaviors in a safe manner and comply with all JBT Machining Safety Policies, including the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Maintain all required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

A high school diploma or GED required. Formal education or experience may be substituted with training when competency in the position is demonstrated.
