Key Responsibilities
Receive and process requests for patient health information while strictly following Company and Facility policies.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive patient data at all times.
Uphold proficiency in utilizing Company and facility-specific software and systems.
Adhere strictly to the Code of Conduct and policies of the Company and Customer facilities.
work or site-related issues promptly to the manager, including fluctuations in work volume.
Assist with additional duties or responsibilities as necessary and evident.
Ensure consistent application of medical privacy regulations to prevent unauthorized disclosure.
Manage and safeguard patient health records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Prepare new patient charts, collating information from diverse sources into electronic health records.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records, organizing them in standard order.
Create digital copies of paperwork for electronic medical records.
Respond to requests for patient records, both internal and external, in a timely and appropriate manner.
Handle inbound/outbound calls and potentially assist with patient walk-ins.
Support administrative tasks such as fax handling, mail opening, and data entry.
Meet productivity expectations set for the specific site.
Schedule pick-ups as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required
High School Diploma or GED.
Flexibility to commute between locations as necessary.
Capability to work overtime during peak periods when needed.
Basic proficiency in computer skills.
Comfort in utilizing office equipment like phones, fax machines, and printers.
Professional proficiency in verbal and written English communication.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and compliant medical records.
Strong data entry skills.
Ability to work independently, managing changing priorities and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, especially in fast-paced environments.
Preferred
Prior experience in a healthcare environment.
Previous experience in production/metric-based work.
Experience in in-person customer service.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with on-site clients and customers.
Willingness to contribute new ideas, suggestions for process improvements, and feedback within the organization.
