The Company

Our client is a well-respected European pharmaceutical/cosmeceutical company, they have a range of exciting products that are highly regarded by Specialists and customers in the facial aesthetic arena. In a phase of phenomenal growth, they are making their presence felt in the Australian market. This is a newly created permanent position.

The Role

This role is responsible for growing business and relationships with our client’s key corporate accounts. You will be the conduit between their business and the assigned key corporate accounts to build and ensure a smooth operational rhythm, seeking out opportunities for sustained business growth. You will be

responsible for managing all aspects of these accounts, from developing and implementing strategic plans to ensuring excellent customer service and driving revenue growth. This role requires 50% in-field activity as well as interstate travel.

Responsibilities:

• Develop clear and defined engagement plans (meetings) with the required stakeholders at the assigned corporate accounts
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the business strategy/operations and objectives of key corporate accounts to identify the best opportunities for growth and service offerings. This includes
• Develop an in-depth understanding of how an aesthetic clinic (chain vs individual business account) is run; operational systems and processes of accounts including brand selection and promotion practices, medical education practices and mapping of their ways-of working
• Develop and implement plans to deliver solutions to meet the key account’s objectives, through expanding relationships with them, and internally with sales colleagues, customer service and management
• Analyse data and sales statistics to improve business strategies.
• Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders so they can help you deliver solutions to the key accounts
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
• Prepare s of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.

Education and Experience

• Tertiary qualification (Bachelor level) in a health science or business management related discipline
• Proven experience as a key account manager preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in a sales role preferably within the medical aesthetics or medical device industry.
• Alternatively, you might have experience in a high touch device industry or FMCG environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
• Demonstrable experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs, including negotiating, problem solving and managing multiple projects and stakeholders
• Ability to analyse business and sales data to make informed decisions and provide solutions to key accounts
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com skills
