Basic Function

As a member of LyondellBasell’s dynamic Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Consultant will partner with HR business partners and hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of recruiting and talent acquisition in support for the organization.

This position will be responsible for supporting the pipeline of qualified talent to meet current staffing needs for assigned client groups.

Additionally, this role will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going manager relationships to support the long-term strategic talent acquisition needs on behalf of the LYB organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
• Partner with HRBPs and managers to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
• Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels and business units.
• Create and implement employment marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers.
• Consult with and advise hiring managers, interview teams and HR to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
• Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, business leaders and HR.
• Work closely with hiring managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
• Track and key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
• Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
• Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
• Develop and implement search strategies that includes vendor selection process and performance metrics for all searches.
• Develop and execute a personal time management plan.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
• Other HR / Talent Acquisition related duties as assigned.

Min. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6+ years of Staffing / Recruitment experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university or equivalent talent acquisition work experience required. Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team-based projects.
• Must demonstrate a strong and clear understanding and experience with end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes.
• Strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff.
• Knowledge and experience on sourcing resumes from all sources.
• Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge and experience with in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
• Knowledge and experience with general HR functions including data privacy and handling of confidential information.
• Strong knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP.
• Strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization including entry level, manufacturing, commercial and / or corporate staff.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to candidates, stakeholders, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to interact effectively with all people.
• Strong knowledge with Excel, Word Processing and PowerPoint.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Must be able to effectively maintain information with the highest level of confidentiality and adherence to LYB’s Code of Conduct.
