We are looking for a Business Development Representative to support our sales business unit. The BDR will support the sales business unit in attracting and converting prospects to long-lasting and happy customers.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential prospects and target companies to pursue.
Execute outreach strategies to generate and qualify leads into the sales funnel.
Establish ongoing positive relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.
Utilize various sources such as LinkedIn, emails, calling etc. to identify leads and qualify them for prospective sales meetings.
Create, maintain, and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects and sales meetings.
Proactively follow up with leads to nurture and develop the relationship.
Gather market and competitor intelligence, feeding back internally to guide strategy.
Track, analyze, and on the results of outreach campaigns and sales meetings.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure sales goals are met and organizational targets are achieved.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in order to develop effective strategies for prospecting and booking sales meetings.
Requirements
Ideally you should have
2+ years of experience in positioning enterprise solutions, preferably SaaS, using a combination of inbound and outbound techniques
Passion for sales and technology – a desire to “grow” your sales career
Ability to listen and receive training/feedback with a positive attitude
Self-motivated and displays a strong desire to learn concepts about your role and industry in an agile way
Team player and ability to “connect” with all individuals within a business up to and including the “C-Suite”
A fearless risk-taker who thrives in dynamic work climates
Clear, concise, and an effective communicator
Ability to handle rejection and persist in the face of obstacles
Knowledge and proficiency of HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools to manage leads and track customer interactions
Benefits
Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 (based on experience). This position is commission-eligible. Comprehensive benefits, Super, and PTO package are also included.
