SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. The Engineering Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating projects, supervising teams, and researching new products.

They develop strategies, manage budgets, and ensure successful project execution. They work closely with teams and collaborate with other management personnel.

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO :

• Research and develop designs and products.
• Work with contractors on projects.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to the engineering team.
• Check the team’s work for technical accuracy.
• Coordinate work with other management staff.
• Manage engineering staff; identify performance issues and bring them to employees’ attention in a positive manner; provide employees with tools and resources to correct the performance issues.
• Supervise individual staff and work teams effectively, fairly, consistently and in accordance with established Human Resources policies / procedures guidelines.
• Responsible for Kiosk repair.
• Required to oversee and assist with all event set-ups.
• Required to wear and enforce appropriate safety PPE.
• All other duties as directed by management.
• Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager in a similar role with at least 15 years’ experience.
• Welding experience.
• Working knowledge of Maintain X System.
• Working knowledge of HVAC (EMCOR) system.
• Working knowledge of OTIS elevator system.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, fire sprinklersystems, framing / drywall, carpentry and custom fabrication.
• Detailed-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems.
• Experience with concrete work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time as well as manage crew to obtain most efficiency.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to listen effectively with strong judgment skills.
• Ability to read and evaluate written material.
• Ability to access all areas of the facility.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Nevada Driver’s License.
• Forklift and boom certified.
• Working knowledge of computer software to include : Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands

• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold environment for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in an environment that varies noise levels from low to loud depending on the event or concert.
