Job Title : Logistics Analyst

Job Location : North Chicago, IL, U.S.A.

Job Type : Contract (possible extension)

Pay : Starts at $25.00 an hour

Shift Structure : 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM; ONSITE, Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week

About the Role :

• Responsible for managing the daily freight moves for domestic and international shipments. This includes both inbound and outbound shipments from 3 locations in the US to support the client company’s Logistics operation.
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to include shipping teams, export, import and order processing.
• Tracking, tracing, scheduling and analyzing data from various sources.

About You : The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience :

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-3 years of work-related experience , knowledgeable with supply chain processes (e.g.inventory planning, warehouse management).

Logistics / Transportation related experience.

• System savvy. SAP is a plus
• Basic ing / analytics skills
• Problem Solving skills
• Works independently
