WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Implement changes to documented work processes to make logistic departments and assembly operations more efficient and improve quality.
• Design and implement Lean Six Sigma based material replenishment strategies.
• Evaluate potential problems and develop solutions.
• Propose changes in the logistics processes to improve our customer’s operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Keep up-to-date about the latest logistics technology / information to support product, equipment, system manufacturing or service.
• Formulate specifications for equipment, tools, facility layouts, and material-handling systems.
• Develop logistic strategies / methodologies for plants and assist with the implementation to maximize plant or distribution center efficiency.
• Communicate, present, and interface directly with clients.
• Build internal competencies, intellectual property & networks.
• Grow with us in various industries and help build business by following your desired career path and passion.
• Support our great team by taking on internal work and coaching others.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have a Bachelor of Engineering degree : mechanical, industrial, electrical, or similar field.
• You have 3+ years of experience in the automotive and / or consulting sector.
• You are proficient in SAP, with experience in all aspects of MRP.
• You have excellent knowledge of the automotive industry and related systems and processes, and have worked with startups as well as large corporations.
• You are experienced in advanced automation and systems.
• You are an advanced CAD user.
• You produce clear status s, can identify issues, create solutions, and navigate resolutions.
• Self-motivated and driven with entrepreneurial spirit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, well spoken with powerful presentation skills.
• You are detail oriented, structured and have common sense.
• You can work on your own with minimal guidance, while putting your team’s interests before your own.
• You think ‘out of the box’ to create solutions when none exist.
• Analytical and highly competent in Excel, Minitab, and (ideally) Power Bi.
• With an agile mindset you are not afraid of diving into uncharted waters.
• Strong conflict resolution skills help you manage, mitigate, and resolve conflicts.
• Your English skills are solid, German is a plus.
• You are willing to travel.
• You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
