The opportunity

As the Senior eBusiness Advisor in the SME team you will work collaboratively across a National, energetic, fast-paced team to deliver premium service to our customers both internal and external. You will be the first line of support for our brokers on all our electronic products, and will implement QBE eBusiness initiatives with customers in a professional and timely manner and help create the right environment with our business units.

Your new role

A day in the role may look a bit like this;

• Provide first line of support to our brokers in our electronic products.
• Partner with business units to establish and maintain new and existing eBusiness initiatives into broker operations
• Provide training to Brokers on QBE business eBusiness initiatives and technologies
• Identify training needs for Brokering staff in conjunction with eBusiness initiatives and provide appropriate training
• Follow up each implementation to ensure brokering staff understand and are utilising the solution as intended
• Analyse individual requirements to support the achievement of organisational goals and objectives
• Collaborate with Product Specialists to provide technical expertise to stakeholders and brokers on our range of offered electronic products
• Communicate regularly with the Team leaders and stakeholders to keep them informed of any issues and opportunities with brokers and resultant outcomes
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design, implementation and roll out of eBusiness applications
• Undertake User Acceptance Testing of new QBE business applications to be rolled out to intermediaries

About You

To be successful as the Senior eBusiness Advisor you will have the following;

• Experience in underwriting insurance products – preferably SME and/or Commercial
• Experience in technical support using application software
• Ability to deliver training to a wide variety of user groups, from novice to advanced
• Ability to identify and anticipate client needs and work with them to meet their expectations
• Excellent communication, customer service and relationship building capabilities
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
• Ability to deliver output with limited time frames
