The Logistics Coordinator supports the Operations and Trucking logistics along with Mass balance (cycle counts) tracking for Unimacts.

The LC supports all aspects of the Unimacts from placed orders to delivery. The LC is responsible for reviewing production schedule and in turn will coordinate with customer to schedule delivery dates.

The LC will collaborate with the operations and supply chain to coordinate in coming materials to supply production on orders, working with them to respond to all inquiries from customers and suppliers, regarding the status of product moving through the acceptance to delivery of all orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supply-demand matching and ensuring that the supply chain has a steady state supply of inventory in order to support JIT delivery to customer
• Will account for all documents and ensure accuracy for all buying and supply chain logistics planning needs.
• Reconcile material, tracking scrap rates, along with providing cycle counts on all raw material
• Streamline the complete order cycle for optimal efficiency.

Requirements

• Associates / BS degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Two years or more of logistics and supply chain industry related experience.
• Purchasing and supply chain operations – ability to manage a customer’s order from PO to delivery.
• Strong attention to detail, hands on, proactive, enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Passion for operational excellence and high quality of detail-oriented work.
• Assisted in creating and tracking operational metrics for measurement of supply chain and inventory management performance.
• Self-starter & looks for areas to apply continuous improvement efforts.
• Coordinating Trucking Freight operations.
• Liaising with 3rd party offices / logistics partners to obtain rates and charges.
• Tracking and tracing shipments and updating clients with expected delivery schedule.
• Solid understanding of basic shipping and receiving processes from factory.
• Proficiency with demand and supply planning.
• High proficiency in the use of Excel, Databases, Outlook, and QuickBook and Fishbowl, a plus.
• Multilingual- Spanish and English
• Customs Experience a plus.
