Logan City Council Hiring for Modern Digital Workplace Support Officer at Australia Full Time

We have a Permanent Full-Time position available as a Modern Digital Workplace Support Officer. This position will see you to the Team Leader within our Information Services Branch.

This position exercises a degree of autonomy to provide specialist, technical or professional advice, governed by clear objectives.

• You will be developing and executing internal and external communications strategies that align with business objectives
• You will be evaluating, implementing, and supporting Desktops, Laptops, Mobile devices/tablets, and end user computer peripherals to ensure smooth end user experiences.
• You will be assisting with the maintenance of software assets, provide version control across the fleet, work with stakeholders to update packages for nominated applications.
• You will be one of six IT experts in a multidisciplinary team, supporting Council’s end user compute fleet
• You will be supporting the modern digital workplace by ensuring Evergreen solutions are fit for purpose and align with Policy, Digital Strategies, IT Standards and Guidelines
• You will be managing minor works/small projects as well as supporting larger projects and innovative EUC uplifts

Minimum Requirements For The Role

• Comprehensive working knowledge of Evergreen products and services, software and hardware lifecycle, quality functional testing and their relevance within the modern digital workplace.
• Expert customer service skills with a demonstrated commitment to delivering positive customer outcomes as part of a high functioning team. Knowledge in IT service management. ITIL foundation certification is desirable
• You will be required to undergo an employment-related background check/s and be assessed as suitable to be able to ethically perform the inherent requirements of this position.
• You have exceptional written and oral communication skills
• You produce work with a high level of accuracy to enable strategic decision making
• You can identify areas of improvement (without being told) and you have the energy and enthusiasm to drive change
• You can quickly build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders. People come to you for advice, they trust your advice and they value your expertise
• You possess a current C class driver’s licence
