Stan Hiring for IT Manager at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

The Stan IT services team plays a critical role inside the business, providing amazing technical support to our team, with a focus on increasing productivity.

As the IT Manager, you will plan and manage projects, and work closely with all areas of the business providing hardware and software support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a predominantly macOS environment.

We’re looking for a motivated self-starter who enjoys technical challenges and takes pride in solving them. Our ideal candidate can initiate ideas and take ownership of work, while understanding the needs of our team to prioritise tasks being actioned.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Day-to-day activities including user management, device inventory, maintenance of typical office IT systems for 200+ staff
• Identify and implement IT improvement initiatives
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers to deliver projects and solve problems
• Manage and mentor the IT support team
• Provide support to staff across the organisation, and an escalation point for challenging problems within the IT team
• Monitor the security, reliability, and performance of internal systems

Skills & Experience

• Experience managing a typical office IT environment
• Strong experience supporting macOS devices
• Strong experience with endpoint management tools such as InTune, Jamf, etc.
• Strong experience with identity management tools such as auth0, Okta, OneLogin, etc.
• Experience working on a technical support team or customer service environment
• Experience supporting users both on-site and remote in a fast-paced environment
• Google Workplace (G Suite) support
• In-depth knowledge of and the ability to perform troubleshooting on macOS, and various applications including Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Chrome OS, Windows, and Linux a plus
• Mobile device support including iOS and Android
• Knowledge of best practices around security, local and network-based user and group accounts and permissions, and data protection
• Experience in automation with scripting or programming languages such as bash, Python, Go, or JavaScript a plus
