National Trench Safety is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to assist with the talent acquisition process.

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in sourcing, screening qualified candidates, and setting up interviews to meet the organization’s hiring needs.

Working directly under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Specialist, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a crucial role in the recruitment and hiring process of NTS.

Core responsibilities :

• Review resumes, screen applicants, and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ qualifications.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews, both in-person and virtual, ensuring that all parties involved are well-informed and prepared.
• Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for hiring managers.
• Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• Coordinate and participate in recruitment events to promote the organization and attract potential candidates.
• Conduct research and stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and recruitment tools and technologies.

Required skills :

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to professionally interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capability to assess candidate qualifications and make recommendations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the recruitment process.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Desired qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Previous experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, or a related role is preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in recruitment efforts.
• Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
