Lotus People are delighted to partner with this leading organisation to find a Communications Assistant to start as soon as possible! Located at beautiful offices based in the heart of the CBD, this purposeful membership organisation provides advocacy and reform within its sector. You will be joining a collaborative, social team who are passionate about the work that they do.

About The Role

Working within the Communications and Digital team, this 8 month fixed term contract role is responsible for supporting the team to successfully deliver media and communication functions across the business.

DUTIES

• Assisting in the research and distribution of weekly and monthly newsletters to stakeholders
• Assisting with social media content, LinkedIn, and analysing statistics
• Monitoring and tracking media relevant to the sector
• Uploading and monitoring website content
• Ad hoc administrative tasks as required

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

To be successful in this role, you will have high attention to detail and be able to hit the ground running in a fast paced role, meeting weekly deadlines. You will have an understanding of basic website design principles and knowledge of email creation. Experience using Mailchimp and WordPress is highly desirable!

You will be available to commence a new role and able to commit to the full length of the assignment and understand the mandatory Christmas closure of 2 weeks.

Please note we can only consider applicants that hold PR or Citizenship as this role has the potential to go permanent.
