Job Description

• Assist with recruiting, coaching and developing a high-performance sales team.
• Act as a resource to sales staff with pricing, closing the sales and developing sales plans for accounts.
• Monitor competitive activity and develop new methods to capture and retain customers.
• Respond to questions from customers and resolve complaints to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
• Maintain current knowledge of products.
• on sales activity.
• Regularly attend sales meetings and training sessions.
• Attend trade shows.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures to support best practice.
• May provide input into performance evaluations and assist in action plans to improve overall individual and team performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related field
• 3 years of sales management experience in the building materials industry, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
