Skout’s Honor® Hiring for National Sales Manager at Oceanside, CA Full Time

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic National Sales Manager to join our fast- growing pet specialty brand! In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and expansion of key retail accounts and growth of our retail customer base within the pet specialty industry. This includes achieving annual sales and revenue goals by effectively building upon current relationships with our retail accounts and growing our product placement among new customers. • Must be willing to work out of our office in Oceanside, CA when not traveling.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage distributor and retail partners:

• Prospect and contact target customers
• Grow sales of current on-shelf items, secure new product placement and expansion of brand billboard
• Collaborate with marketing to set up TPR, POP and signage programs
• Secure education/training opportunities
• Conduct business/customer reviews

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as Sales Rep
• Sales experience within pet specialty industry is preferred but not required
• Experience using CRM to manage your business/customer accounts
• Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent communication skills, deadline and detail-oriented, strong negotiation skills
• Organizational and leadership ability
• Personable, memorable, relationship-driven mentality
• BS/BA in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred
• Travel required 30-50% of each month
• Salary based on experience
