Description

Receives and responds to customer service inquiries and problems via phone and/or email. May promote and sell products/services. Researches problems and documents processes to correct them. Enters information into computer for tracking purposes. Requires knowledge of a limited range of products/services.

• Ability to assist customers with any and all questions concerning their accounts and prepaid cards.
• Maintain constant professional and friendly phone interaction with customers and exhibit self-confidence when dealing with customers.
• Cross-sells bank products/services to new and existing customers by identifying problems, needs and opportunities.
• Prepare stop payments, holds and alerts on customer accounts.
• Prepare address changes, update employers, phone numbers, etc while in contact with customer on telephone.
• Maintain understanding of various regulations affecting transactions. (such as Reg. CC, Reg. E and Right to Financial Privacy Act, Bank Secrecy Act)
• Ability to assist customers with ATM, Debit cards, and prepaid card problems and questions
• Initiate electronic transaction problem forms to be forwarded to the appropriate personnel for research. Contact the customer with problem form results
• Ability to answer questions related to the 24 hour Phone Banking system and the Internet Banking site. Mailing the correct forms to customers for set up, changes, or the resetting of pin numbers.
• Assist customers in researching check orders, making changes or reordering their checks through our Vendor’s website in an accurate manner.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of computer software programs such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and to meet deadlines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years Years Customer Service Experiences
