Sika Health Hiring for Sales at New York City Metropolitan Area Full Time

The Role 

Sika Health is hiring a founding sales individual to shape our customer and go-to-market efforts. Your mission will be to drive revenue growth through customer engagement, selling our health payments offering, and managing client relationships as we scale. The ideal hire is an experienced and dynamic individual who has a passion for fixing our broken healthcare payments system and has a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. As a founding member of the sales team, you’ll be responsible for cultivating relationships from warm leads as well as finding creative methods to engage brand new partners in order to drive revenue growth. 

What you’ll do

• Partner closely with CEO to source, nurture and close customers
• You will be accountable for increasingly ambitious quotas 
• You will manage complex deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders and vendor review processes such as legal, security, or procurement
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the company to communicate and help prioritize customer needs in order to support product roadmap prioritization
• You’ll independently prospect new business opportunities, including building your own referral networks with potential and current clients
• You’ll implement and maintain tools to help track sales effectiveness – e.g. you live and breathe the CRM of your choice 

About You

• You are KPI driven with a proven track record for meeting or beating quotas
• You are willing to get scrappy – you’ll find a way to get into the account and get the deal done without being discouraged if at first you hear “no”.
• You’re an excellent communicator (both verbal and written) who gets excited about building and maintaining relationships with clients and team
• You are willing to experiment and get creative and you do not need set or defined structure to be successful; better yet, you can create structure out of ambiguity 
• You are a self-starter capable of operating independently to drive meaningful business results
• You have unquestionably high level of integrity – after all, in the health and payments ecosystem, this is non-negotiable
• You have excellent judgment – you have the rare combination of being able to make quick decisions with your gut and measured decisions with your head.

• Experience in early-stage startup
• Domain experience selling payment/ commerce products
• Technically mind – can assist in translating customer needs into product requirements – from engagement through implementation and beyond.

Pay Transparency

The estimated OTE range for this position is $160,000 to $240,000. The listed range is a guideline from Pave data, and the actual salary may be modified based on factors including job-related skills, experience/qualifications, interview performance, market data, etc. Total compensation for this position may also include equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and employee benefits. Given Sika Health’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further note that Sika Health has minimal hierarchy and titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
