ABOUT THE POSITION

BetterManager is seeking a dynamic and experienced SVP, Global Sales to lead and drive our sales team to new heights. The SVP, Global Sales will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth by developing and executing a strategic sales plan, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring consistent revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader with a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams in the B2B Learning and Development space.

Essential Functions Of The Position

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with BetterManager’s business goals and objectives as well as channel opportunities and partner/alliances development. Identify new market opportunities and growth areas.

Sales Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing sales team, including sales managers, account executives, and sales development representatives. Foster a culture of success, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Revenue Growth: Drive consistent revenue growth by setting ambitious sales targets, forecasting accurately, and monitoring performance metrics. Develop and refine sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Customer Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels within client organizations. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.

Market Analysis: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.

Sales Training and Development: Implement ongoing sales training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team. Provide coaching and mentorship to nurture talent.

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience Required

• Professional interpersonal and communication skills are required for ensuring a positive image of BetterManager with clients and potential clients, co-workers, contractors, facilitators, vendors, visitors, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven track record of at least 10 years in sales leadership roles, with a focus on B2B Learning and Development space.
• Ideal candidate has proven experience in scaling a hybrid L&D program using both coaching usage models and a subscription based SaaS offering.
• Experience in a coach/player role, building and leading successful sales teams, ideally in a series A-B startup (~50 employees) or high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of leadership development, coaching, and training solutions is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results.
• Proficiency in CRM (Hubspot) and sales analytics tools.
• A passion for leadership development and creating positive organizational change.
