Transforms information from Architectural Drawings or rough product designs into Shop Drawings. Typical projects include custom commercial Curtain Wall, Storefront, and Composite Metal Panel cladding.
Creates, maintains, and updates shop drawings according to customer specifications and field dimensions to ensure proper manufacturing of product, calculation of glass sizes, and ordering of materials.
Revises shop drawings in a timely manner, adjusting for field dimensions and changing customer specifications. Reviews all versions of drawings with Engineering Director and Project Managers ensuring complete and accurate dimensions, redline information, and quality building standards have been applied.
Assists in developing timely solutions to problems and, at times, assists with the product design and engineering.
