TheDriveGroup Hiring for Senior Data Scientist at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a rapidly scaling and well-funded Australian SaaS company.

Our client, a rapidly scaling SaaS platform company is looking to grow their data science team. Given the platform is driven by Artificial Intelligence, you will play an instrumental role as the company continues to scale and update the platform.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be involved in the research and development of the platform’s AI driver, as well as collaborating with other engineering and data teams. You will also be building relationships with internal stakeholders and delivery teams, as your new team is also involved with projects relating to new clients.

What You’ll Do

• You will bring your immense knowledge of Data Science, AI and ML to act as an SME and ensure that ethical best practice is implemented and followed
• You’ll be analysing data gathering techniques, sources and metrics to ensure that the data gathering process is as effective and efficient as possible.
• Work closely with the engineering team, other data teams and the business to grow the architecture, add features and improve the platform.
• You’ll be applying cutting edge predictive analysis and AI to continuously improve the core features of the platform
• You will be transforming captured data and insights into impactful statistical models

What You Bring

• You are confident with writing SQL scripts, and programming in Python
• You understand data mining, NLP and are comfortable creating data architecture
• You have built high-quality ML Algorithms
• You have solved problems that relate to product development
• You’re comfortable with AWS and its related data services (EC2, Athena, RDS etc.)
