Aardvark Swift Recruitment Hiring for Vice President of Sales at San Francisco Bay Area Full Time

We’re working with Kalypso Media UK to find a VP of Sales to be based in the United States and be responsible for all digital and retail accounts in America and oversee all strategic planning and key account management in the area of digital and retail sales. You’ll have the freedom to develop your own ideas and initiatives as well as benefit from Kalypso’s short decision-making processes.

Kalypso Media UK are part of the global and privately owned Kalypso Media Group, who develop and publish games through four development studios as well as working with leading independent developers. They have an impressive international track record and are known for their focus on creating strategy games for a global audience across all platforms, with an IP portfolio that includes internationally popular series such as Tropico, Commandos, Port Royale, Dungeons, Sudden Strike and Railway Empire.

For this position you will need to be based in the United States, and already have connections in the games industry.

Your responsibilities…

• Controlling of accounts, including revenue, quality, processing, analysis, and ing
• Acquisition, maintenance, negotiation, and expansion of the partner network
• Continuous monitoring of the markets and competitive landscapes
• Planning and implementation of price actions and promotions
• Examination and initiation of new business opportunities
• Implementation of performance analysis and optimization measures

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…

• 5 or more years’ experience in a games sales role
• Proven track record of creating international sales strategies
• Professional negotiation skills
• Keen eye for detail and an understanding of distribution and licensing agreements
• Good commercial understanding and judgement
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an energetic team-leader
• Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro experience
• Able to work as part of a small, dynamic team and handle multiple projects
• Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally
• Hold the right to work in the United States
