Bullis Charter School Hiring for TK/K Classroom Teaching Assistant at Los Altos, CA Full Time

Under the general direction of the K-5 site principals, provide instruction, and programming to a classroom of transitional kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten students; work directly with the kindergarten teachers to align programs and content to support classroom instruction; interface with parents and school leaders to develop programmatic outcomes and monitor students progress.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Support and run programming for small groups of TK/K students within the classroom setting
• Ensure students have access to creative activities, opportunities to play and practice skills from the classroom
• Meet with kindergarten teachers on a regular basis to gather input on student progress in the classroom and receive recommendations on additional skills to practice with students
• Communicate with parents regarding programming, skill-development, behavioral supports, etc.
• Support TK/K teachers with classroom activities and instruction, as appropriate
• Participate in BCS staff development, as appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned
