The Dermatology Office Hiring for Executive Medical Assistant at New York, NY Full Time
Job Description We are seeking an Executive Medical Assistant for our upscale dermatology practice. You will perform administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical office running smoothly. Duties include greeting patients, making appointments, checking out patients for payment. You will also be fulfilling orders from our retail skin line.
Experience With Dermatology, Cosmetic And/or Surgical Procedures Is Preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Assist in paying bills
- Perform clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with pharmacies for prescriptions
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Assist in filling prescriptions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
