As a Healthcare Data Analyst at , you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and healthcare professionals, to ensure data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
•             Data Extraction and Transformation: Extract, clean, and transform large and complex healthcare data sets, including claims data, clinical data, EDI, and HL7, to make it suitable for analysis.
•             SQL Expertise: Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
•             Data Wrangling: Employ advanced data wrangling techniques to merge, reshape, and cleanse data from various sources.
•             Data Mapping: Develop and maintain data mapping documentation to ensure accurate data integration and ing.
•             Data Visualization: Create compelling and insightful data visualizations using tools like Python, Azure Power BI, Tableau, and R to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
•             Scrum Master Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile development processes as a Scrum Master, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
•             Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights to improve healthcare processes and patient outcomes.
•             Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data analysis processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
•             Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics).
•             Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Healthcare Data Analyst or similar role.
•             Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
•             Proficiency in data wrangling and manipulation techniques.
•             Experience working with healthcare data sources such as claims data, clinical data, EDI, and HL7.
•             Proficiency in data visualization tools, including Python, Azure Power BI, Tableau, and R.
•             Scrum Master certification or experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus.
•             Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
•             Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•             Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
