Job Description:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales activities within the West region. You would play a pivotal role in achieving the company’s sales objectives and maintaining strong customer relationships. The Regional Sales Manager oversees a team of sales representatives and works closely with other departments to drive revenue growth.

Essential Role Functions

• Create a distinct sales process for Sales Managers and Reps to follow
• Establish clear Sales objectives for the week, month, year, etc.
• Initiate and innovate marketing strategies to increase sales and reduce costs
• Announce, present, and educate sales team of any new or upcoming products
• Hold and direct sales meetings
• Train new sales department hires in company processes and procedures
• Manage and supervise sales team to ensure they are on track in achieving sales goals
• Lead, motivate, acknowledge, and inspire your team to perform beyond expectations
• Hold frequent performance reviews with staff to provide constructive feedback
• Celebrate sales achievements and goals met or surpassed
• Continually monitor and track regional sales performance
• Analyze and on monthly sales outcomes
• Strategically forecast and manage budgetary information
• Ensure customer issues are attended to appropriately and efficiently
• Attend cross-functional meetings that will benefit the sales department
• Collaborate with local distributers to ensure proper inventory and deliveries
• Possess detailed knowledge of product offered
• Interact directly with the customers to educate them on our product and answer questions
• Build and maintain positive client and customer relationships
• Attend trade shows and conventions as needed
• Be a fitting representative and promoter of our brand and the products we deliver

Work Experience Requirements for This Role

• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• Middle Eastern/Mediterranean Foods experience preferred
• Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively
• 7+ years of Retail/Sales related experience
• Familiarity with negotiation, upselling and other sales tactics
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
