Happy Chef Uniforms Hiring for Key Account Manager Full Time

The Key Account Manager will manage a dynamic portfolio of key accounts, developing and growing their business with Happy Chef and maximizing revenue opportunities. The position is responsible for meeting and growing sales volume for assigned accounts or territories.

The KAM will establish themselves as the customers’ main point of contact and manage all interactions with the customers to drive customer satisfaction and achieve revenue quota on an annual basis.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, excited about working with key accounts and inspired by the potential to identify opportunities to change how we’re operating today.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving revenue and exceeding sales targets with assigned accounts.
• Drive account growth through identifying and maximizing whitespace opportunities with existing accounts.
• Act as a primary contact for assigned accounts, providing day-to-day support and communication.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to understand potential spend and future opportunities while growing account volume.
• Gather, create, and maintain key insight for all assigned accounts including key contacts, correspondence, size of business, product/category risks & opportunities; calendar / timing and potential hurdles. Create and communicate monthly performance and key metric scorecard for assigned accounts. Maintain updated account records of sale activities, including progress toward sales targets and goals. to leadership team on a weekly basis.
• Develop and implement comprehensive account plans to grow accounts.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within key accounts.
• Manage key omni-channel retailer accounts to maximize sales opportunity through merchandising, product assortment, digital tactics and identifying new digital opportunities.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Happy Chef’s online merchandising assets on key eCommerce retailer sites including product descriptions, images, videos, etc.
• Maintains a consistent frequency of in-store visitation to ensure execution of brand presence.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related account management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven success managing account development from scaling to multi-year account growth.
• Ability to enhance consumer interaction/experience with our retail partners.
• Ability to provide key ing and analysis as it relates to a variety of key performance indicators and account performance metrics weekly and ad hoc as required.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Ability to work autonomously at very high productivity levels.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years foodservice account management, B2B sales experience within restaurant, GPO background.
• Team uniform and/or apparel sales preferred.
