Individuals in the Ready Mixed Dispatch group play a key, visible role by interacting with customers, identifying their needs, and relaying important communications to all members of the Sunrock team while ensuring maximum utilization of company assets. The position receives guidance with respect to general objectives. In the majority of tasks and projects assigned, the incumbent determines methods, work sequence, scheduling, and how to achieve objectives of assignments while operating within specific policy guidelines. The position will spend approximately two months in a training program that will cover the following functional areas: Quality Control, Concrete Operations, Concrete Dispatch, and Sales. A typical work schedule is Monday-Friday with ten (10) to twelve (12) hour days and rotating Saturdays. The incumbent must practice absolute confidentiality. Good judgment and common sense is required in all duties and any other task as assigned by Supervisor Concrete Dispatch and Concrete Operations. Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) may be required. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Associates Degree or Bachelor ‘s Degree in Construction Management or Transportation/Logistics preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of related industry experience and/or training is preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
