Remote Accounting Manager Full Time

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remote Accounting Manager to lead our finance team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses to provide insight into financial performance.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and ensure accurate ledger entries.
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation.
• Drive process improvements to enhance accounting workflows and reporting accuracy.
• Train, develop, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff in a remote environment.
• Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
