A Surrey Industrial & Construction Supply Company has an immediate opening for a self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, a MATURE person looking for LONG TERM employment.

Daily duties consist of but are not limited to:

• Oversee the receipt and verify accuracy of all orders coming from suppliers – closely working with the purchaser and inventory clerk
• Order picking, packaging, and shipping and checking throughout the day
• Operate industrial power equipment
• Restock and replenish shelves throughout the day
• Perform warehouse maintenance – general cleaning and organization
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures

Other Requirements:

• Open to learn from everyone on the team
• Periodic knee bending, kneeling, and climbing
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to handle changing priorities and respond to change within a short time
• Ability to multi-task

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse shipping experience required
• Forklift Certificate – not required but preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous computer skills – training on inventory system provided

Job Duties:

• Load and unload trucks
• Move and stack materials
• Rotate floor stock
• General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
• Follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
• Receive/process shipments
• Perform proper forklift inspection
