Location: Milton Keynes

Job Description:

Our client, an ambitious, privately owned company, is looking for an energetic, highly motivated Sales Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful Sales Manager will drive profitable sales growth through personal account management and through developing and working with a small team of Export Sales Executives.

Key responsibilities:

• Achieve significant sales growth
• Provide personal account management
• Develop and motivate the small team of highly capable Sales Executives
• Devise new business development initiatives to maximise distributor focus on the company’s brand and product range
• Take responsibility for trade show activity (typically 1-2 shows pa) and support dealers who exhibit the company’s machines on their own stands at other shows
• Accountable to the board for sales performance through monthly ing

Key skills and experience:

• Graduate preferred with strong ambition and good levels of IT literacy
• Proven international experience of working with dealer channels
• Ability to coach and develop the team
• Strong commercial skills: judgement, problem solving, relationship building
• An ability to understand technical aspect of products and able to explain this clearly to others
• Extensive relevant customer facing experience
