Investigo Hiring for Data Finance Analyst at London Full Time

Currently partnering with a leading real estate company, looking to take on a Finance Data Analyst within their Commercial Finance team. If you have experience working with Power BI and SQL, I want to hear from you.

• Salary – £35,000 DOE
• Location – City of London
• Hybrid – Flexible working available

What to expect

• Prepare and automate regular management information to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain, update and refine existing power BI s used by senior stakeholders.
• Establish and document processes to extract information from various databases using various data connection tools to collate information ready for generating meaningful analytics.
• Work closely with teams across finance to identify the key sources of information that drive the senior stakeholder s.
• Work closely with the IT and Business Transformation teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency, as well as ensure documentation is maintained.
• Understand key financial and growth drivers of the business and provide data driven guidance on key levers.
• Leverage data and build a good understanding of Real Estate investment and development models to add insightful commentary to business results.
• Lead the implementation of Power BI and train members of the finance team as required.
• Contribute to developing process to meet the above tasks, constantly reviewing and refining to improve efficiency and information quality.
• Contribute to finance systems discussions with a focus on efficiency and automation of key analysis.
• Provide general analysis as required.

What will you bring to the role

• A good understanding of querying in SQL and other programming tools.
• 2 years experience in a similar role.
• A relevant degree in a numerate subject.
• Able to build strong relationships with finance & non-finance individuals and have the confidence to challenge assumptions.
• Able to problem solve and think of innovative ways to convey the answers to key questions.
• Strong attention to detail – figures/analysis produced are correct and analysis is written in clear, very concise manner.
• Hunger to learn and develop a strong technical skillset.
• Experience with Business insight software (particularly power BI, DAX), advantageous.
• Experience with Database structures and/or syntax (particularly SQL), advantageous.
