As Talent Partner you are a strategic influencer who embodies QIC as their customer, the hiring manager and P&C team as their partner, and quality, expediency and diversity as measures of success. You will use talent intelligence, operational excellence, and talent communities as your expertise to gain optimal talent outcomes for QIC.

You will have full ownership of end-to-end recruitment activities to deliver quality candidates to the business maximising direct sourcing. This role champions our Talent Advisory strategy ensuring diversity, inclusion and candidate experience is at the centre of all Talent activities. Talent Partners play a crucial role in helping QIC to understand current and future talent needs and developing and implementing effective strategies to attract, convert and pipeline top talent.

• Build market expertise using talent insights, market intelligence and leverage market data to gain optimal talent outcomes.
• Contribute to workforce planning in collaboration with HR Business Managers and people leaders by providing talent intelligence to determine the future skills and capabilities for workforce needs, role design and hiring decisions through internal mobility or the external market.
• Coach Hiring Managers through the end-to-end recruitment and selection process and manage candidates through each phase of the recruitment ensuring quality candidate care at every stage
• Be part of strategic initiatives across DEI, Early Years Careers Programs and EVP
• Champion process evolution and change
• Support the delivery of QIC Careers Program including graduate and internship programs and other targeted recruitment initiatives.

About You

You Are

• Highly motivated individual with extensive experience in Talent Acquisition or a generalist HR role (where recruitment is a major function)
• Expert using LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Insights
• Innovative with a creative flair to think outside the box to solve hiring challenges and pipeline diverse talent
• Candidate and client service focused with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
• A strategic thinker with the ability to influence and communicate with credibility to diverse groups of people at all levels of seniority
• Continuous improvement mindset, prior experience with applicant tracking systems and talent tech stack will be valued
