We’re looking for a People & Culture Junior Manager to support our operations and nurture a thriving culture!

Requirements

What’s the role about?

We’re entering a growth phase, and as such a lot of hiring is planned. We need to hire great people, aligned with our culture, and that are excited about changing the lives of Entrepreneurs! The role is very much hands on, you’ll be leading the People & Culture function, and building your own team as we grow. You’ll be working daily with the Group Co-founder & Australia Managing Director as people business partner, planning ahead all people related operations.

Currently We’re Looking At The Following Split

• Talent Acquisition (70%):
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and candidate evaluations.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and priorities.
• Implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates.
• Conduct interviews and collaborate with hiring managers to assess candidate suitability.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience, from application to onboarding.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance our hiring processes continually.
• Interact and collaborate with our Global People & Culture team on a weekly basis to share learnings.
• Culture Building and Ongoing HR Activities (30%):
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement, considering the hybrid work model.
• Facilitate seamless onboarding experiences for new employees, fostering connection and productivity in both remote and office settings.
• Organise team-building events, training programs, and employee engagement activities, both in-person and virtually.
• Provide empathetic HR support to employees, addressing queries and concerns promptly.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures tailored for a hybrid work environment.
• Work closely with leadership to address performance management and employee development needs.

Who are you?

• Hungry to build a thriving team!
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a high-growth startup environment.
• Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in Australia.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on finding and attracting top talent.
• Knowledge of HRIS, ATS is preferred – we run on Workable.
• You know the Linkedin job app like the palm of your hand.
• Experience in designing and implementing culture initiatives in hybrid work settings is advantageous.
