The purpose of this role is to develop and win new business and new customers for Optus Enterprise in the Australian market. The BDM will be responsible to sell into a territory of medium to large businesses with 300 or more employees.

This role will be largely responsible for the development of new customer relationships within a designated portfolio to grow Optus’ penetration of their addressable New Mobile, Fixed Data and Voice business. A high level of client relationship skills (CEO, CIO, CFO), strong planning skills, the ability build and implement strategy, and problem solving for solution development is required.

Success will be evident in the measurement New Mobile Fleets moving to Optus, billed revenue, the profitability of that revenue, the signing of new business orders, an increase in customer share of wallet and customer satisfaction results.

It starts with you!

• Experience in developing and implementing strategic sales plans.
• A deep breadth of experience in a relationship/strategic selling preferably in Telecommunications & ICT solutions.
• Ability to identify and navigate sophisticated organisational and political customer structures.
• Experience in managing key technical relationships and selling strategic business solutions that included ROI analysis.
• Top-tier sales professional with extensive market and product knowledge.
