Description
Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
Interviews patients measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records or inputs information to patients’ medical record. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
Two Years of experience
Education
Requires a high school diploma.

License/Certification
Requires a Medical Assistant certificate (state).
