Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalency examination.
Experience: Previous secretarial experience desirable.
Licensure/Certification: Current American (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) card preferred. Primary Source Verification (If Applicable):N/A
Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of clerical procedures and medical terminology. Skill in English grammar and spelling. Neat, legible handwriting. Ability to file and maintain patient records, files and s. Excellent communication skills. Ability to use office equipment, such as multi-line telephones, computer terminals and printers.
Contacts: Constant interaction with internal and external customers to include (but not limited to) patients, families, physicians, employees and visitors.
