Salary Range : $58,067 – $69,682

E ssential Functions and Objectives :

S upports recruiting and onboarding for various high volume and specialized positions across Denver Public Schools. Supports the team with strategies to strengthen and expand initiatives to recruit, hire, retain and advance team members, with a specific focus to support increased recruiting efforts to build a diverse workforce.

Duties include, but are not limited to pre-boarding transactions and cultivation of candidates for positions across schools and departments.

• Set salaries for Central Office positions and perform internal equity audits for offers
• Screen new applicants, review qualifications, and support hiring managers with recruiting or pre-boarding
• Create job postings and market vacancies on job boards.
• Supports campus, community and diversity recruitment activities for local recruitment initiatives; coordinates and attends recruitment events (job fairs, open houses, conferences, and district sponsored events).
• Cultivates candidates across schools and / or a variety of positions.
• Determines salaries by assessing experience and education following established guidelines per DPS and / or bargaining unit.
• Validates qualifications, credentials, and licenses required of school-based hires; verifies that candidates meet minimum requirements;

and confirms that all new hire documentation is completed and received.

• Supports pre boarding activities such as; new hire paperwork and offers letters.
• Collaborates with Human Resources Partners to monitor and meet client group recruitment objectives.
• Supports customers, school principals, community constituents, and partners in Institutions of Higher Education; attends partnership meetings with Institutions of Higher Education, business, community and school partners and serves on school, community and business committees, councils and / or advisory groups.

K nowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications :

• Knowledge with Microsoft Office / Google products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs. Google Sheets, Google Slides.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines.
• The ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance.
• Work collaboratively with others on a team.
• Aptitude for variety and changing expectations and fast-paced environment.

E ducation Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in SHuman resources or related field (preferred).
