Class Pty Limited Hiring for Business Analyst at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

We are seeking a Business Analyst to partner with development, automation, support and technical teams to define requirements and propose solutions for the functional design, user interface and workflow for new and improved application features.

This role will also work will assist us with the uplift of our ing capabilities in technology.

This role is a permanent position and offers flexible work between home and our Sydney CBD or Bundall offices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements details, test data and other supplementary materials to allow development to begin
• Develop business requirements, draft functional specifications and business rules related to procurement
• Maintain an overall view of the desired end state for processes, including identifying security risks and compliance
• Assist in the design, build and test of the applications which will transform the current business processes
• Applies the appropriate business analysis methods, tools, techniques, including user centred design and other UI focused approaches
• Produces high-level and detailed business models, preparing business cases, overseeing development and implementation of solutions, considering the implications of change on the organization and all stakeholders
• Work with the product team on the requirements and solution design for new features and enhancements to existing product roadmap
• Support the BA Lead in sharing Business Analysis concepts and experience with other Business Analysts within the organisation and enabling a continuous improvement culture

Experience Required:

• 3-5 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment
• Strong experience in an Agile development environment
• Demonstrated experience in agile projects – methods, practices, tools and mindset; with a strong delivery focus and customer-centric mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Experience in Jira/Confluence (for managing boards and project documentation)
• A demonstrated capability to think globally and strategically, understand business dynamics, and manage multiple complex initiatives
• Experience in Superannuation or broader financial services (desirable).
