What To Expect In This Role

Working as a core part of our team, as a solutions architect, you will contribute to driving growth, innovation, and delivery.

Here Are Some Of The Duties You Will Perform

• Identify and prioritise business and system requirements (e.g., features, functionality) from client documents and interactions, including assessing the quality and flexibility of any dependent or constraining systems
• Conduct technical research on proposed system elements to determine feasibility, budget, time required, and compatibility with current systems, and troubleshoot any technical issues
• Design new computer systems and architecture, using computer design software to develop networking and system models.
• Lead the design of appropriate, comprehensive end-to-end solutions for the client
• Work with clients on functional and technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring technical components of the project are in sync with the business needs
• Ensure appropriate network structures and security features / protocols are implemented
• Identify, investigate and recommend opportunities for solution optimisation
• Communicate plans with stakeholders for review and approval
• Prepare documentation on new systems, functionality, features and other relevant particulars

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Equivalent of 8+ years of experience as an Architect working in the federal/state government
• Experience in the use of Agile techniques (e.g. SAFe, Kanban) and working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Tertiary qualifications in a related field desirable, such as: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering
• Maintains expert knowledge of regulatory, information lifecycle management, enterprise and multiple business domains, end-to-end processes, related solutions and capabilities or configuration and of enterprise applications
• Deep knowledge of SAP, Java and ServiceNow, coupled with other business software applications and programming languages
• An aptitude for learning new technologies across the full technology stack and ways of working
• Highly developed analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to draw accurate, logical conclusions
• High levels of self-motivation, energy and confident in working autonomously within the team
• Can write clearly, and explain technical concepts to non-technical people
• You are outcome focused and take pride in ensuring client satisfaction
• Australian citizen, and holding AGSVA security clearance .
