internezzo AG is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Remote Medical Records Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of medical records. Your role will be critical to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting high-quality patient care.

Tasks

• Maintain medical records in an organized and efficient manner
• Manage requests for release of medical information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Ensure that all medical records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date
• Perform quality control checks to verify the completeness and accuracy of medical records
• Retrieve and file medical records as necessary
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the timely and accurate completion of medical records
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to the maintenance and release of medical records

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical records management
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records confidentiality
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
