Kavaliro Hiring for Technical Sales Manager – Managed Services Full Time

The primary responsibilities for the Outside Sales Manager are to effectively grow Kavaliro’s Managed Services client base. The role will work in conjunction with internal and external resources to ensure execution on strategies and programs designed around expanding Kavaliro’s client base of MSP and/or MSSP Clients.

Responsibilities:

• s to GM/Sr. Managing Director of MSP Division
• Prospect for new business
• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
• Working with Marketing to maintain a contact database for campaigns
• Researching organizations to identify new prospect targets
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
• Schedule discovery meetings and follow up meetings with prospects
• Achieve strong conversion rates from phone and in-person discovery meetings
• Complete understanding of the Kavaliro MSP Div. business proposition
• Complete understanding of all Kavaliro MSP Div. Service and Solution offerings
• Maintain a strong personal / professional network
• Work with existing referral partners
• Work to expand referral partner network
• Maintain accurate records pertaining to each prospect and lead within CRM tools
• Development of new proposals and presentations
• Work directly with Kavaliro MSP Div. technical resources as needed
• Work with Technical Account Managers as needed
• Work with SMB Client Account Manager as needed
• Attend weekly internal calls as needed
• Prepare and present quarterly business plans to management

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in MSP and/or MSSP
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Thorough understanding of how customers in the SMB and mid-sized Enterprise business market require, search, compare, and consume technology services
• Proficient in general MS-O365 applications
• Strong organizational and presentation skills
• Must have the ability to have both a technical conversation as well as a Business Conversation with prospects
• Skill in preparing written communications and materials
• Interpersonal skills: telephony skills, communication skills, active listening & customer-care
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
• Ability to overcome objections
• Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Independent thinker who takes the initiative when appropriate
• Must have a high level of business acumen
• Excellent grammar, written and oral communication skills
• Above- Average understanding of computer networking technology and industry trends
• Average understanding of Cyber-Security offerings and trends
• Must have successful track history of being in a Sales/Hunter role with a technology company
• Time management and organizational skills to effectively follow projects from quoting to completion.
• Strong computer skills and capable of presenting customized presentations to accounts using, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, Word, GoTo Meeting, etc.
• Basic abilities to read engineered building and design drawings will be a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License with good record. Must maintain drivers record in good standing.
• Must be able to travel 40%. Frequently drives to representatives or customer visits. May drive regionally or air travel may be required, including overnight as needed.
• Must maintain flexibility and additional hours if needed (i.e, Trade Shows, Industrial Shows, weekend work occasionally necessary.)
