About the role ℹ️

The Company Partnerships team is responsible for bringing on fast growing startups and tech companies into our Earlywork ecosystem.

You’ll be a meaningful contributor to a team that is critical to driving meaningful employment outcomes for our diverse, ambitious fellows.

You’ll be responsible for initial outreach to potential partners across various channels to start a conversation on how they can use Earlywork to assist their hiring needs.

You’ll also get the opportunity to work on company-facing marketing initiatives such as case studies, events, content series and more.

What you’ll be doing 💼

These are some of the core tasks you will be responsible for in the role:

• Research and identify potential company partners
• Reach out to ICP’s through email, phone, and social media in order to qualify sales opportunities
• Conducting discovery calls and pitching for SMB partners, providing potential buyers an articulate understanding of Earlywork’s mission and value proposition
• Help navigate through complex sales through call prep, and targeted follow-up
• Create thoughtful and engaging company-facing content across all channels
• Execution on other company-facing initiatives such as events and content series
• Strives to engage the local tech scene and build meaningful relationships with key influencers in the ecosystem

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence others.
• Outbound prospecting experience including cold outreach across calls, phones and LinkedIn
• Experience with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other prospecting tools
• Ability to demonstrate time management, resilience, drive, coachability, and curiosity
• Background, experience and passion for customer-facing roles in tech
• Strong relationship builder and ability to build rapport with diverse individuals
• Able to think on your feet, try new approaches and bounce back when things don’t go your way
• Confidence communicating in both 1:1 and 1:many situations
