Our Role

Our office in Perth is currently looking for a Data Analyst to work within the Service, Products and Stand-alone Power Systems Division, specializing in the analysis of contractual obligations, key performance indicators (KPIs), and monthly ing on operational Renewable Energy assets and power stations.

This role will work closely with the Contract Manager and other internal stakeholders to provide actionable insights derived from financial, CRM, CMMS, and ERP systems data.

The Data Analyst will utilize tools such as Power BI, Power Query, and Excel to Export, Transform & Load (ETL) data into meaningful models and s that drive business decisions for clients, managers, and teams.

Key Responsibilities

Position’s Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Contractual Analysis: Review and analyse contractual obligations and KPIs defined by the Contract Manager related to operational Renewable Energy assets and power stations.
• Monthly ing: Generate monthly s focusing on the performance and status of energy systems designed, constructed, and/or owned by the Group.
• Data Integration: Assist in the analysis, ing, and forecasting of data from financial, CRM, CMMS, and ERP systems.
• ETL Processes: Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to Export, Transform & Load data into useful data models and s.
• Data Visualization: Utilize Power BI and Power Query to create compelling visualizations that communicate complex data in a straightforward manner.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and insights to the Contract Manager, clients, and internal teams to inform and drive business decisions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data by implementing and following best practices in data management.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data analytics tools and techniques.
• Responsible for compliance with OHS policies, ensuring workplace compliance, and ing hazards and near misses.
• Foster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty and teamwork.

Selection Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the Renewable Energy sector.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and MS Excel.
• Additional skills in Python, SQL, VBA, R, or similar languages would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Excellent communication and time management skills, conflict resolution abilities and confidence dealing with a wide range of people, from tradespeople to customers/stakeholders and supervisors.
• Understanding of OHSE requirements.
