About You

You will have significant programme management experience in a wide range of business areas and be able to demonstrate success of delivering complex project assignments. You will enjoy working in face-paced environments and can establish and tune project governance and ing best practices.

Ideally you will have experience of managing a cross-location team and organising and allocating resources to meet project management and technical design requirements. You will have excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage change with a proactive and enthusiastic approach, as well as enjoying building a high performing team focused on delivering customer excellence and team cohesiveness. A proven track record of delivering business value through technology with scalability and reliability at the heart of this.

Requirements

• Ability to lead a team of delivery professionals.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Ability to stay on top of detailed progress across multiple teams in different locations and timezones.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Develop and deliver project s and Steering Board presentations to communicate progress and status.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, proactively identify risks and issues, and devise contingency plans.
• As required, negotiate with other department managers to secure the involvement of colleagues from across various departments in project work to support successful delivery.
• Conduct project reviews, including creation of recommendations s that identify successful and unsuccessful project elements, along with lessons learnt and actions to address going forward.
• and represent project progress and escalation to senior management.
• Managing change requests, clearly articulating business impact, representing high risk changes at Change Approval Boards and gaining timely business approval.
• Maintaining and tracking progress of Client roadmaps, helping Client teams monitor the delivery of capabilities.

• Ability to own a relationship of a large bank as one of 10x’ key clients.
• Proven experience as a Programme Manager in a Scale-Up, Tech or Cloud environment.
• Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques and methods.
• Outstanding leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with experience of communicating technical issues to senior staff.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• The ability to work efficiently from a home office environment.
• A highly proactive self-starting ethos, with strong customer focus.
• Experience of commercial management for one or a set of programmes.
• Outstanding team skills, with the ability to effectively support colleagues.
