West Coast Women’s Show is Looking For BB Sales Representative at Vancouver, BC Full Time

With over 400 booths and 26,000 annual visitors, the West Coast Women’s Show is the largest women’s event in Western Canada. Our team has been producing trade shows and consumer shows for over three decades. This year’s shows are taking place at TRADEX and BC Place Stadium. A third show is being launched in 2024.

This is a remote position working from home. We are looking for a top sales agent to work remotely 90% of the time, with the remaining time spent at various shows, markets, and events across the Lower Mainland. This position is responsible for selling booth space and sponsorships via telephone. You will be provided with a comprehensive database of customers. Selling exhibit space for Western Canada’s largest women’s event will be your primary responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell exhibit space for the largest women’s event in Western Canada via outbound telephone calls
• Prepare proposals for major sponsors
• Sell add-on advertising and / or marketing opportunities to your customers as necessary
• Make a minimum of 50 calls per day
• Build relationships with exhibitors
• Generate new leads via other shows, associations, social media, etc.
• Meet weekly, monthly and annual sales goals and related targets
• Maintain detailed records of all phone calls
• Attend competing shows and events; then follow up with exhibitor leads in a timely manner
• Provide at-show customer service
• Ensure all contracts are signed and space is paid in full on time
• Collection calls as needed
• Other duties as required

Knowledge and Abilities:

• 3+ year of proven sales experience required. This would ideally be in a telephone-based, inside sales, outbound calling environment
• College degree preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, meet conflicting deadlines, and maintain detailed database records
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Experience in events is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $72,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
