Bentleys Queensland Hiring for Marketing Assistant at Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia Full Time

Under the guidance of Bentleys Queensland’s Marketing Executive, the Marketing Assistant works with all teams and service lines to assist in coordination and implementation of initiatives in line with Bentleys’ business and marketing plans.

This is a generalist marketing role where you will be exposed to the full spectrum of marketing and communications in a professional services environment. As part of a small (two-person) team, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate how you apply initiative and innovation to get the job done.

You will also contribute to the cultivation of our culture – driving Bentleys’ corporate values through marketing communications and all aspects of our work.

These are some of the things you’ll do:

• General content creation: video, photo, digital & printed collateral
• Social media: content creation, coordinating platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter), analysing data and keeping up with industry trends
• Collateral: coordinating and updating brochures and capability statements, creating new materials for projects / sponsorships, printing and distributing collateral
• Website assistance: utilising the website for QLD initiatives, ensuring information is up to date, creating articles & pages
• Analytics: using Google Analytics, social media, Client Sense analytics and others to create s in Google data studio
• EDMs: creation and coordination of EDMs for Bentleys Queensland
• Sponsorships: assistance in executing agreed inclusions of sponsorships, liaising with vendors and external stakeholders
• Assisting internal stakeholders: supporting the needs of Partners and Directors in line with marketing plans
• Enquiry coordination: distributing website enquiries for Bentleys Queensland
• Events: coordinating and executing events (catering, attendees, collateral, branding)
• Design work: digital or printed materials using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
• Internal Comms: assisting with internal messaging, Bentleys IQ, P&C update, and recruitment efforts
• Queensland Campaigns: assisting with developing and executing Queensland specific campaigns
• Network: assisting with network initiatives where necessary

About You

You have 1 – 2 years’ experience working (graduate and undergraduate) within a busy marketing team in an assistant role. You’ve got a team focus and you communicate articulately with confidence. You’re an organised multitasker able to handle many diverse projects and comfortably manage your deadlines.

You’ve got a passion for brand building. You’re able to develop and deliver engaging content, presentations and messages that resonate with the audience. You’re known for your innovation, flair for expression and taking the initiative to be one step ahead.

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in business related degree with major in marketing (or related discipline)
• Experience with writing and editing; recent event assistance experience
• Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, basic experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Up-to-date working knowledge of social media marketing and mar-tech tools and programs including: Mailchimp, Canva, LinkedIn, Facebook, SurveyMonkey, Eventbrite, WordPress, Google Analytics, YouTube and Social media scheduling applications.
