Responsibilities:
The Roles

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced individuals to join the Lafarge team at Westridge in the roles of: Shop Labourer

General labourer duties associated with all aspects of Shop environment.

Required ability to perform yard tasks including general clean up & washing equipment.

Perform routine maintenance duties on buildings, equipment, and facilities.

Safely operate and maintain small equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, lawnmowers, weedeaters, pressure washers, saws, drills, etc.

Retrieving Parts from Vendors.

Ability to work safely and follow safety guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Work in a team environment to ensure that project timelines are met.

Assist with other Shop related tasks as needed.

Follow and adhere to all the Company’s safety procedures and directives.

Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner.

Perform work in outdoor site settings.

Act in a courteous manner in order to project a positive company image.

Qualifications:
Previous experience working in Shop or industrial setting considered an asset.

Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers.

Valid driver’s license.

Must be able to work under pressure.

Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.

Work is performed primarily in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heatand humidity, and exposure to dust.

Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
