MAYDAY Recruitment has partnered with one of Australia’s largest real estate networks, in Sydney. This exciting opportunity will see the Social Media and Content Specialist working closely with the Social Media and Content Manager and collaborating with the team and key internal stakeholders.

As a Social Media and Content Specialist, you will be responsible for social media strategy and content creation initiatives, effectively engaging customers and building the brand’s identity.

The role:

  • Develop engaging content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and collaborations. Take ownership of the content calendar
  • Implement and execute the social media strategy to enhance brand awareness and engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement marketing plans and ensure consistent messaging across platforms
  • Manage social media communities and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries
  • Utilise social listening tools to gauge brand performance, track customer feedback, and identify potential PR risks
  • Prepare detailed s on social media activity and provide recommendations
  • Keep abreast of best practices and industry trends and identify opportunities for brand expansion

The ideal candidate

  • Around 2 years’ experience in social media or content creation position
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field would be beneficial
  • Passionate about content creation with an open and enthusiastic attitude
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools
  • Experience with video production and editing is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders
