Greenstone Gold Mines L.P. is a 60/40 joint venture partnership between Equinox Gold and Orion Mine Finance Group formed for the purpose of the joint ownership and development of the Greenstone Gold Property including the Greenstone Mine located on a historical mine site in the Geraldton-Beardmore Greenstone belt in Ontario. The Greenstone Mine is managed directly by a dynamic and experienced Owner’s team, with an estimated $1.5 Billion investment over the three-year construction and commissioning phase, and a 14-year operating life of mine.

Greenstone Mine is seeking Mine Haul Truck Operators – Level 1 to join our team. ing to the Mine Operations Supervisor, the Mine Haul Truck Operator is responsible for safely and productively operating a Mine Haul Truck.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Operate the Large Mine Haul Truck in a safe and efficient way in accordance with all relevant legislation, company policies and procedures. Perform Field Level Risk Assessments. Cleaning operator cabin and refilling equipment fluids as required. Complete logbooks and daily s on safety issues and production. Accurately track all load’s sources, and destinations. Use two-way-radio, horn, and light signals to communicate with other operators and ensure safety. Use the Mine Haul Truck according to operating practices, policies, and procedures to haul materials such as sand, aggregates, blasted rock, and snow to various locations on the mine site. Monitor gauges, and other indicators to ensure the mine haul truck is working properly, discrepancies.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

A minimum of 2 years of experience operating large Open Pit Mine Haul Truck (+ 200 tons) at a mine site Valid driver’s license Prior experience in an industrial setting and/or mine site experience is required Heavy Equipment Operator Training or equivalent experience is required Ontario Surface Common Core Training is an asset

LOCATION

This position will be based in Geraldton, Ontario on a rotation basis.

Greenstone Mine provides company transportation from multiple pick-up point locations.
